Family Egypt
Egypt seen through curious eyes — designed for families who want their children to understand what they're looking at, not just photograph it.

Cairo · Giza · Luxor · Nile Cruise
From $3,200 per person
Your 8 Days
Eight days that will change how your children see the ancient world — and how you see it with them.
Cairo, Giza, and the Grand Egyptian Museum — then south by air to Luxor for a Nile cruise through the Valley of the Kings and the temples of Karnak. Every site chosen for what it teaches, every visit paced for families who want to go deeper than the average tour allows. Egypt is one of the world's great classrooms. This is how you use it.
-
Cairo · Giza
Private transfer from the airport to your hotel in Giza. Evening briefing with our team — what's ahead, what to expect, and your first look at the Pyramids on the horizon. For most kids, this is the moment Egypt stops being a school subject and becomes real. -
Grand Egyptian Museum · Giza Plateau
A full day at the Grand Egyptian Museum with Mark — one of only five certified guides at the GEM — where Tutankhamun's gold, mummies, and 100,000 artifacts tell the story of a civilization that lasted 3,000 years. Then the Giza Plateau itself: the Great Pyramid, up close, at a scale no photograph prepares you for. -
Saqqara · Memphis
A morning at Saqqara — home to the Step Pyramid, Egypt's oldest, built 4,700 years ago and the blueprint for everything that came after. Then Memphis, the ancient capital where the pharaohs ruled before Luxor or Cairo existed. -
Cairo → Aswan · Philae · Nubian Village
An early morning flight south to Aswan. Afternoon at the Temple of Philae — built on an island in the Nile and dedicated to the goddess Isis, its carvings still sharp after 2,000 years. Evening in a Nubian village on the riverbank, where the food, the color, and the hospitality are unlike anything else in Egypt. Tonight, the cruise ship is your home. -
Aswan · Kom Ombo
Morning at the High Dam — one of the largest engineering projects of the 20th century, and the reason modern Egypt exists the way it does. Then the cruise moves north. Afternoon arrival at Kom Ombo, a temple built for two gods at once, its walls carved with ancient surgical instruments that will fascinate kids and adults equally. -
Edfu · Esna
Morning at the Temple of Edfu — dedicated to Horus the falcon god, so well preserved you can still read the stories carved into its walls 2,200 years ago. Afternoon through the Esna lock as the Nile carries you north toward Luxor. -
Luxor · West Bank · Karnak · Cairo
Morning in the Valley of the Kings — tombs carved deep into the limestone cliffs, painted ceiling to floor with scenes from the afterlife, including the tomb of Tutankhamun whose treasures your children saw in Cairo on Day 2. Afternoon at Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built. Evening flight back to Cairo — the Nile behind you, one day still ahead. -
Cairo · Citadel · Khan el-Khalili
A final morning at the Citadel of Saladin — a medieval fortress above the city with a view that puts all of Cairo into perspective. Then into Khan el-Khalili, the bazaar that has been selling spices, gold, and everything in between since the 14th century. Eight days, two cities, one river — and a country your children will spend the rest of their lives wanting to come back to.
