Cairo first, then south to Luxor — where the sky goes completely dark over the courts of Karnak. The days that follow take you through the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple, and the Valley of the Queens, before a return to Cairo for the Citadel, the markets of Khan el-Khalili, and a final day face to face with the Pyramids themselves.
