Private transfer · Hotel check-in
Cairo at night hits differently. Your first evening is yours — walk the streets, feel the city, let Egypt begin. -
Giza Plateau · The Sphinx
Stand at the base of the Great Pyramid before the crowds arrive. Afternoon at leisure or an optional walk through Cairo's bazaars. -
Step Pyramid · Serapeum · Ancient Memphis
The oldest stone monument on earth. Underground burial chambers sealed for centuries. The capital of ancient Egypt before everything else existed. -
Fayoum · Lake Qarun · Wadi al-Hitan
Fossilized whale skeletons 40 million years old, a desert lake, and a landscape that feels like nowhere else in Egypt. -
Karnak Temple · Luxor Temple
Check in aboard your Nile cruise ship — your home for the next few nights. Karnak by afternoon, the largest religious site of ancient Egypt. By evening, Luxor Temple illuminated against the dark — its statues and obelisks lit from below. -
Valley of the Kings · Hatshepsut Temple · Colossi of Memnon
A motorboat to the West Bank. Three tombs inside the Valley of the Kings. The towering Colossi of Memnon. Hatshepsut's mortuary temple, carved into the cliffs 3,500 years ago. -
Edfu Temple · Kom Ombo Temple
By horse and carriage to Edfu — one of Egypt's best-preserved temples, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Sail on to Kom Ombo, a rare double temple shared between Sobek and Horus the Elder. -
Abu Simbel · Nubian Village
The colossal temples of Ramesses II at Abu Simbel — relocated stone by stone when the Aswan High Dam threatened to submerge them. By afternoon, a Nubian village — colorful homes and a warmth that's hard to describe until you've felt it. -
Philae Temple · Flight to Cairo
A motorboat to the Temple of Isis on Philae Island, dedicated to the goddess of magic and motherhood. Then a flight back to Cairo to close the loop. -
Grand Egyptian Museum
A full day with Mark — one of only five certified guides at the GEM. The treasures of Tutankhamun, the Royal Mummies Hall, and artifacts most visitors never see. -
Coptic Cairo · Khan el-Khalili Bazaar
Churches, synagogues, and mosques standing side by side in the oldest part of the city — a side of Cairo most tours never show you. Then into Khan el-Khalili, the bazaar that has been running since 1382. -
Optional: Egyptian Museum or Mummies Museum · Transfer to airport
One last morning in Egypt. If your flight allows, an optional visit to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square or the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, home to the Royal Mummies. Then home, with a different picture of Egypt than the one you arrived with.
